Ingredients
1.5 cups maple sugar
2 ¼ cups all-purpose flour
1 teaspoon baking soda
½ teaspoon salt
2 sticks (1 cup) butter, softened
1.5 teaspoons vanilla extract
2 large eggs
2 cups semi-sweet chocolate chips
Directions
Heat oven to 375 deg F
Stir together flour, salt and baking soda in a medium bowl.
Beat butter, maple sugar, and vanilla extract in a large bowl using electric mixer. Mix until creamy.
Add eggs to butter mixture and beat well.
Gradually add flour mixture and mix to combine.
Stir in chocolate chips.
Drop by rounded teaspoons onto ungreased cookie sheet.
Bake 8-10 minutes or until lightly browned.
Cool slightly then place cookies on wire rack to cool completely.
