Our glass bottles offer several advantages over plastic jugs. First, you can see the product, which allows you to tell how much is left in the package and when it is time to reorder. You can also see if the syrup is starting to crystalize, which it will do if left for long periods of time in the refrigerator. Glass also is completely odorless, which helps preserve the complex taste of our maple syrup. Finally, it allows you to see the wonderful hues of our pure maple syrup.

Are your glass bottles of maple syrup certified organic?

Yes, all of our maple syrup in glass bottles is certified organic by NOFA Vermont.

How should I store my glass bottles of maple syrup.

Unopened maple syrup can be stored in the pantry. Typical "best by" dates are two years from purchase. After opening maple syrup should be stored sealed in the refrigerator. If it is not sealed well some water will eventually evaporate out o the syrup ad the syrup will start to form sugar crystals. One of the advantages of our Boston Round style glass bottles is that they are extremely compact and they take up very little space on the pantry or refrigerator shelf.
